Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Laundry & Linen Supervisor for our 206 room recently renovated hotel.  We provide only the finest of accommodations with guest service second-to-none. This position will schedule, supervise, assign and assist laundry and linen personnel in processing, furnishing,  and distributing linen and room supply needs of the property.  The primary position responsibilities include the following:


  • Schedule and assign linen room and laundry workers
  • Ensure that adequate linen and supplies inventory is maintained
  • Maintain records on receiving and issuing supplies
  • Maintain records on linens and work performed
  • Supervise work performed by both linen room and laundry associates in processing and distribution of linens and supplies
  • Assist with work as necessary in the absence of staff
  • Monitor recording of and maintenance of lost and found items

Experience and Skills:

The successful candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to read and write in order to complete necessary reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with guests and staff as necessary.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to move throughout the building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff members complete their individual tasks if situation demands.  
  • Ability to supervise others, prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior cleaning, laundry experience in the hotel industry.
