We are a 1020 room convention hotel located on International Drive across from Sea World. We take great pride in delivering REMARKABLE guest service at all times.
Primary function is to be responsible for the implementation of the rooms’ inventory management plan of the hotel. The position will manage the rooms’ inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. This position will balance the needs of the Sales Office, Front Office and Reservations to optimize the REVPAR of the hotel.
Manage the daily availability and rate strategies of the property through Fidelio Starlink and PRSNET as well as Internet Programs.
Ensure the HOD of the hotel is currently in the GDS systems.
Establish selling price guidelines for the group sales efforts, by day.
Monitor transient and group pick up and trends on a daily basis.
Monitor the REVPAR on a daily basis and create solutions to under-performing days or months.
Attend rooms Revenue Management meetings.
Attend Operation meetings.
Attend Sales meetings.
Be actively involved in the annual budget process.
Produce 90 day, monthly, weekly and daily rooms forecast.
Define rate strategies for forecasted sell out situations.
Define all distribution channels and manage allotment into those channels.
Monitor GDS availability and rate positioning via electronic call around.
Know your work schedule and follow it with a high degree of reliability.
Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow employees.
Maintain professional attire and personal hygiene.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

Inform management of any work-related problems or guest complaints.
Practice “aggressive hospitality” and provide guest satisfaction.
Promote the hotel through goodwill, courteously and a positive attitude.
Attend all schedule training classes and meetings.
Train other employees as directed by management.
Continue to learn and grow in your position.
