Embassy Suites in Blue Ash, OH is hiring!!!

A Front Office Supervisor with Embassy Suites Hotels will assist the Front Office Manager with preparing the daily forecast, deliver quality customer service, and lead a world class team of professionals to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Office Supervisor, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Provide guidance and leadership at the Front Desk during 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
  • Execute according to policy and procedures
  • Train and orientate newly hired Guest Service Representatives
  • Assist with coaching and developing team members to meet professional brand standards
  • Create, retrieve, and file guest registration cards
  • Manage the safety deposit box process
  • Effectively resolve conflicts and “Make it Right”
  • Ensure timely and accurate checking in and checking out of guests
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Ensure a high level of product and brand knowledge of the hotel
  • Provide or obtain accurate information
  • Complete guest registration
  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue report
  • Audit Micros financial records
  • Review & Correct financial discrepancies
  • Provide driving and/or walking directions to guests to local destinations
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

What are we looking for?

We are recruiting team members with demonstrated experience to deliver the following:

  • Experience with supervising a team of professional guest service representatives

  • Commit to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week

  • Available to be scheduled between 07:00am – 07:00pm or 01:00pm – 03:00am

  • Weekend availability is required (Saturday and Sunday)

  • Passionate one-on-one customer service provider

  • Proven leader in the hospitality industry and in our communities.

  • TakesOwnership of his/her actions and decisions

  • Executes with a sense of urgency and discipline

  • Punctuality and Perfect Attendance

  • Professional Appearance

  • Proficient in Business Mathematics

  • Proficient using both Software and Database Applications

  • Effective Verbal & Written Communication Skills

  • English required

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
